Campsite Review — Mile 710 — John Ruskey

Memphis gauge 12. Camping on the top end of cat island at this water level was not great, and lots of mud found everywhere, left behind by last rise. Continuing downstream 2 miles to the first expanse of bottom end sandbar you find, around mile 708, offered much better locations, mostly Sandy, on the south side of the island, but still not fully exposed to the glare of the casino lights soon coming another 5 to 10 miles downstream.
