Viking and American Melody cruise ships have started making all day visits to land locations from Terene Landing, blocking the entire ramp. If you are in small vessel, it will be a tight squeeze getting in. If you're in a big vessel, you might not be able to make landing. If you need vehicle access, you'll have to wait until the boat pulls out, which is sometimes an all day wait. Best case scenario consult Viking and American Melody website in advance for cruise calendar. A landing expansion is currently underway, with a new ramp being built specifically to fulfill access needs for all. But will probably take until the fall of 2026, or spring of 2027 to be completed.
