Condition Report — Mile ? — David Hill

Water seems to be flowing significantly differently through the Hen and Chick archipelago now. Previously, the only way water flowed through the islands at very low water was as described here in Rivergator: around the top of the Hen island and then through the backchannel of the Hen. Currently, however, water is not flowing around the top of the Hen. Instead, water is flowing through the eastern-most "Chick" islands (not around the top of the Hen) and on through the backchannel of the Hen. Water level was -6 on the Memphis gauge. It seemed like water would still be flowing at perhaps -8. Yesterday, there was good flow through all of this. Water level was -6 on the Memphis gauge. It seemed like water would still be flowing at perhaps -8.
